ARTISANS’ in Kala Ghoda arts district commissioned visual artist and designer Sameer Kulavoor and his team to create a mural to celebrate ‘handmade’. The mural is sponsored by Pidilite Industries Ltd and has been supported by the Kalaghoda Association.
At a time when technologies vie to replace humans with ‘bots and artificial intelligence, we are aware of an acute need to celebrate the power we hold within our hands. ARTISANS’ Centre honors the contributions of indigenous artists and craftspeople. We are thrilled that Sameer Kulavoor is creating a mural to celebrate the value of handmade!
As an outstanding member of the Kalaghoda community, your support for the creative endeavour is of great value to enterprises like ours. It was inaugurated on Friday 3 February 2017
